More evidence of inflation. I purchased in October 2019 on SS for $10.20.

Thanks OP. I'm in for 1

This really isn't a deal. And like many others have said, Kirkland brand is way better if you have a Costco near you. Wonderful exploited the pistachio game about a decade ago when folks didn't really snack on pistachios but now the playing fields have evened out quite a bit and you don't have to go Wonderful or bust for pistachios.

How about pricewise? Is Kirkland better as well?

Just finished a bag of this brand from Sam's Club: IMHO, Kirkland is much better quality and worth any price difference. You rarely get bad meats...

Agree! Kirkland ones are tastier and easier to open

I'm a huge Costco fan, but I actually like Aldi's pistachios the best.
They are a lot easier to break apart than Wonderful.
And Costco's are good but I still found Aldi's to be my favorite.

I'll have to try that! How big of a bag and how much do they sell them for?

In short, we can conclude that, far from being a luxury, buying shell-off pistachios is in fact the fiscally responsible choice. There is no scenario in which the cost savings of a bag of shell-on pistachios justifies additional indirect expenditure in labor.
Some people eat fewer at a time if they have to work for it.

My local Costco does not carry the S&P Kirkland Pistachios unfortunately. Only regular.
