I ordered Costco Klipsch system with $50 coupon, which put the price down to $749. Still I need to buy R-12SW, which costs around 189 or more...
I don't think I need an extra warranty through costco this time.. will cancel and order this one.

You need a receiver to be able to amplify and connect devices to these speakers. You will not be able to utilize any of these speakers without a receiver. The set being sold here is the "5.1.2" in case you were wondering.

Watch the video below which shows you the basic setup and connect guide.

What do I need to buy to make it 7.2
My media room is pre wired for that. Also, I need atmos speakers on the ceiling. I heard a demo and was blown away. Sorry I'm a total noob with this. Also, a good receiver recommendation please?
You need a 7 ch receiver to run this 5.1.2 set. For additional 2 atmos at the rear ceiling, you need 9 ch av receiver.

I picked up in-person from costco texas store for $699+Tax w/o subwoofer. Costco includes Speaker Wires - 95 Feet .
How'd you make this work? I'm not seeing it on their site?

"Save $1,027.00 in Instant Savings plus $1,176.00 in "Accessory Savings" when you buy this Klipsch R-625FA."

What are the" Accessory savings?" I haven't had surround sound for 20+ years and it was a $300 receiver and speaker set so I know very little. Is there a wattage rating on speakers in the way there is one for receivers? What measures do you take to match these up to make sure you have enough power to power the speakers without supplying too much to blow them?

I did the same. I went to Cypress, CA to get a lower tax rate. (7.75%)

Adorama charges 9.5%.

Didn't need the sub. So I think I still saved money. Plus I already hooked up the speakers and don't want to spend the time to return because I bought it in-store.

Well technically you need a receiver that will decode the "Atmos" codec(ie 4K receiver).
The built in enabled "Atmos" modules are designed to reflect the "Atmos" content off the ceiling.
Your ceiling should be between 8-12ft in height, smooth and flat for better performance.

Adding another pair of "Atmos" on wall/ceiling speakers to this will vary widely in performance.

You could make it a 7.2.2 by adding side surrounds but as someone pointed out you would need a 9 channel 4K receiver and that can get pricey and again the performance will vary widely with this also.

Ty. So which 2 additional speakers to buy for the ceiling? I don't have any wiring on the ceiling as of now

Depends on how big the area is that he is using them in and what you guys are used to. If you are upgrading from a soundbar type setup this would be a significant upgrade, if you have had a pretty decent surround setup then it would be marginal. The subwoofer IMHO is the weakest part of this package. In it's class Dayton Audio or BIC America would make better choices for the money.
