I bought this the last time and finally got it out to use during a recent camping trip.
Real world result: About 2 days for ice with already cold drinks in there.

I'd agree, not a bad cooler but unless you have this completely shaded for the entire day do not expect a 24 pack of already cold drinks and a 10lb bag of ice to last more than 24 hours.

Maybe if filled to the brim with ice and RARELY opened could I see this lasting 5 days....and again, 100% protected from the sun.

I have one of these it's about 10 years old. I like it and would get another if I needed another. I don't know if ice would actually keep for 5 days, more like 2 or 3 days if you started with cold drinks and a lot of ice. I wish they would make these in all white, or lighter colors.

I think I have this cooler, or at least one that is nearly identical. One thing that I noticed is that it has a temp-leak around the front latch on mine. After about 5 camping trips, the wheels come off on mine fairly regularly. Mine has just a simple friction fit for the wheels, not sure if this one is any different.

Any upgrade to the handle bar thing? I had one a few years ago and with 2 bags of ice and 2 cases of 12long neck it broke at the joints.

I bought this for $30 a few weeks ago for boat days. Love it. Lighter and easier than our yeti. Holds strong all day. I wouldn't use this for camping for a week, but for a couple days this thing is great. Lots of storage in a relatively small footprint too.
