I dont understand why it would tell me it's available for local pickup on the 18th, let me add it to a cart and then it tell me its not available for local pickup. They have to ship the console regardless, why can they not ship it to my store or better yet, to me directly? I've been trying to get one of these farking things for 6 months and always run into stupid problems like this when it seems within my grasp.

Sony needs to pick up the slack and pump out more PS5s.

Playstation will lose this gen they have a inefficient designed hardware and poor supply chain management.

In my area the Xbox listings tripled and amateur scalpers keep undercutting each other. I asked around and some are selling just to make 20 bucks lol

You can still buy Live by itself if you're not interested in GP. I'm not sure if this deal is still around but it used to be where you buy Live first. You're allowed up to 36 months. Redeem the Live code, then buy UGP and redeem the code. It should tell you this will convert all your Live over to UGP. Instead of spending $15 a month on UGP, you'll pay whatever the Live cards cost you, which retails at $60 a year.
