How is this monitor compare to the earlier this week ? The 35" Monoprice Zero-G 3440x1440 100Hz VA Curved FreeSync Gaming Monitor ?

I read in one of the Walmart reviews that this is not curved.

Does it make a big noticeable difference if it is curved or not?

Or is this the reason for the price drop/reduction? Thanks

that one is an UW monitor this one isnt. in terms of quality, i believe LG has one of the best panels on the market with their beautiful vibrant colors.

For non-gaming stuff, you can easily run 2 of these on a sub-$200 (MSRP) graphics card. For gaming I usually have to turn the settings down a bit to get a consistent 60 fps at 1440p on my RX 580, so you'd need something better than that to drive this for gaming.

I think the 650B is same monitor pretty much but has the tilt and lift stand. Cheaper 600B is the AUS version with fixed stand. Kind of like what costco sells for the lower res 32, fixed stand, the 50B-T AUS version for 199 and then there is slightly more expensive model 550B that is same monitor but has the fancy stand for 299.

Bought this several weeks ago after returning the Monoprice Darkmatter. This is quite a decent monitor, nothing special about it except that it does up to 165hz. I have been using it for coding, kept the background dark and also lowered the brightness and it almost feels like an OLED. Probably the modern monitors have gotten better with backlighting, I don't know. This is great compared to my old HP Pavilion 32.
