We have an acquaintance that works at Samsung in Plano, TX who a few months ago said that they'll use the chip shortage as the reason not to come out with a new Note but that they already have no intention of doing anymore work on future Note phones. The chip shortage is just a convenient excuse to consolidate the phone lines.

Kind of sad to be honest, I LOVE the Note series. I've had a 4, 8 and now 10+. I guess it's going to be a while till I upgrade again. In all honesty I use the stylus very little, I mainly like the square-ish shape larger screen/battery and the spec bump they usually received.

You don't get Honey "confirmation", but if you check your honey account's activity it should show there soon. I've never had a problem getting the rewards. And now that you can transfer the points as cash directly to your PayPal account instead of using them for gift cards, it makes this deal even better

ok I understand but -- S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra batteries are bigger than Note 20, that's why I never got the Note 20, I had a NOte 10+ and was very disappointed in the battery life.

Bestbuy is $200/300 cheaper and Samsung chat rep just told me they are no longer price matching.

Also I can't seem to get the trade in value deducted, anyone having similar issues?

Agreed that it's pretty scummy. However I somewhat remember them doing the same to the Note 20 and possibly S21 promos (I think if you preregister you get an extra $ towards accessories, not discount off the phone). I always preregister on the off chance that it's a coupon code off the phone but it's baked in. Clicking on the link or not doesn't seem to change the price for me so the preregistration discount is BS since it seems like anyone preordering can get the same price.
