It might, but there's pretty limited space between the battery mount and the shoe.

For those with a Black & Decker 20V Max battery/charger, you're almost good to go (without any extra adapter). Just a few minutes work to make a matching notch on the other side of the battery's top. Tons of info out there on doing this btw.

On the other hand, actually *finding* this Porter Cable saw at most Lowe's is remote, at best.

Lol, maybe I should've put my selfish hat on and posted this here after grabbing one from the store near to me. Just went there and they said the last couple they had, sold in the last 2 hours. But I still got lucky in another way, which I will post here after it ships Wink

Edit: So I was able to price match with Home Depot, shipped yesterday and delivered the order today!

And the youtube mod worked perfectly! Thanks for the tip, saved some money by not having to buy an adaptor. Had to make a notch in the BnD battery and take some plastic off the saw at an angle, where the battery goes in. Didn't take more than 5 minutes.
