If I have an old family plan with 5 lines, would I be able to trade in on the Samsung deal for two lines and then add this 50% off for the other three lines if I upgraded to the magenta Max plan?

According to the rep I chatted with today, this 50% promo expired on 8/12. I've learned not to trust anything they say though, so does anyone know if this promo actually expired?

Also, it seems someone was able to get it to work with a 55+ plan, but what about Military Magenta plans?
