This game is so fun.

1. Fly around planets doing missions.
2. Fly into space whenever you want.
3. Explore space. Fight in space. Fly to other planets.
4. Repeat.

Very fun game for me and I put tons of hours into it. There's just one achievement left for me and I think that it's broken… or was a long while ago when I played it. May jump back in to see if it got fixed for the new systems…

But no Star Fox though.

It's still a good game, and if you haven't played it, this is a decent price for all of the DLC weapons, pilots, etc.

Thanks, I'll try it later. The game was a blast to me.

The Achievement was "Antifreeze" something…

I got this via uplay for like $15 for everything. Loved the game, there were some issues on endgame I didn't like but it was worth there. Sucks they released it as a money grab and probably discontinue the franchise.

Check your Epic library before purchasing .... it was a giveaway on one of their freebie weeks. It's just the base game, I believe, but still ...

Is that starter pack w/ the toys [gamestop.com] required for this?

I remember last year someone mentioned the starship packs were $1 at Dollar Tree, I'm not sure if they still sell those.

Nope. This doesn't need physical ships, weapons, pilots, etc...

I don't think there's a PC version of this on the MS store.

Really different experiences … this is more like a story driven, arcade shooter space adventure … think like modern Starfox with swappable ships, weapons and pilots in semi-open planets. Whereas No Man's Sky is more like open multi-world exploration with survival elements and ship upgrades.

To put it simply, NMS is more like a simulation and this is a more traditional story driven video game. Both are fun, but very different.
