Cyberpower i7-11700KF Nvidia RTX 3070 16GB Ram 1 TB SSD Liquid Cooled $1799

$1,799.00

Liquid cooled proper prebuilt, with an ATX case for plenty of expandability, i7-11700KF and 3070 back in stock. Compared to the Asus prebuilts, this is much better with better parts, a wide variety of USB 3.2 Gen1 and Gen2 ports, liquid cooling, big for expandability, etc. Good deal if you have a 10% off coupon to use. The card that came in mine was an EVGA FTW3, which is being sold at $1100+ right now.

Nice. Only about $100 more for liquid cooling and double the SSD from most of the $1699 systems that have been floating around.

Any ideas on how to get a 10% off coupon?

You might be able to buy on ebay, other than that not sure. Got one for my birthday month.

I will say that I bought both the Asus 3070 5800x and this one, and this one is head and shoulders better. Will be returning the Asus.

You can find a prebuilt 3080 for $1799 with liquid cooling? Where? Drop a link because I'd love to buy it. The $1999 Asus 3080 (now out of stock) is trash and requires a few hundred more dollars of investment for a new case and fans, which incidentally voids the warranty.

How is Bestbuy's return policy on computers? Do they charge the restocking fee if it is opened?

The Asus case isn't great but it's decent enough to work. It needs an intake fan and a better cooler which is like $30-40. Not exactly a large investment.

You can return it opened without a fee. Only 15 days though unless you are elite or elite plus.

Again, a) it's out of sale for the 3080 so any discussion there is purely theoretical; b) changing the cooler voids the warranty and the vast majority of coolers don't fit because of the size of the case; c) the Intel versions are non-K processors and have a bunch of USB 2.0 (vs the USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 on the cyberpower); d) air cooled vs liquid cooled for cyberpower; e) SSD is twice as large.

Some people want to actually keep their warranty and don't want to go around swapping fans and parts.

To me, keeping my warranty, having a liquid cooler, having room for expandability, getting a K processor that can be OC'ed, getting WiFi 6 vs. Wifi 5, getting a bunch of USB 3.2 ports, having a much better case, and not needing to swap out the cooler and add fans is worth an extra $100 (AMD version, sold out) or $200 (Intel version). Not everyone will agree.

Fyi the motherboard that came on mine is the Gigabyte Z590 UD AC - again, a top notch MB vs the no-name Asus G15 (appears to be a B550 variant) in the Asus.

I wasn't comparing them. I was simply saying that the Asus 3080 machine doesn't need a lot to be a good machine mod wise. Also, the motherboard in the Asus box is a B560g strix board. Not a Z chipset but actually a good board (https://rog.asus.com/motherboards...ifi-model/)

I got the asus and while it was a B560, it was not a Strix or ROG. It came with a total of 2 USB 3.0 (not 3.2 gen 2) ports and 6 USB 2.0 ports. Not impressive.

The 3080 version comes with the strix b560 model I linked. I bought it but ended up returning the machine because one of the GPU fans had bad noise when it ramped up. Unsure about the 3070 version.

The 3080 model also says it comes with a KF processor, so pairing it with a B560 is dumb as the processor supports overclocking but the motherboard doesn't?? Not that you'd want to overclock in that case in the first place. Asus might have saved some money on the build by pairing it with a non-K processor like the 3070 model. What a dumb, shortsighted build. Their returns must be through the roof.
