Add the HACKZALL and 3/8 ratchet to cart, ship one to home, pickup one in store, cancel ship to home order, pickup discounted tool in store.

Or cancel the item that is instore pickup and save the gas money. I think I'll grab the ratchet for 81.31.

I posted this on another deal. This explains the Hack in a nut shell.

The Hack
The hack is simple. You buy a promo deal which you get a free tool or battery. There are different ways to do the hack. Pick up at the store, online, or a combination of both. You keep one of the items and the other item is subtracted automatically (if you did not pick it up) or return the item.

The Hack Example:
The M18 ($219) is the key to the hack. It is a promotional item. You have to select that in your cart. The battery ($139) is a free item. It shows you in the cart with the return value based on the zip code of the Home Depot (zip code example 43065) you select.

$133.97 + $85.03 = $219 plus your state sales tax. If you received it in the mail return the item to Home Depot and they will subtract the one you didn't want. If you didn't pick it up Home Depot will subtract the item after a certain time (they will let you know in the email). That is the Hack. Tool Boss on YouTube Channel can explain it better. I cannot provide the link due to the Slick Deals policy.

Can I cancel shipped order immediately after ordering or do I need to pick up in store first?

I personally would suggest waiting for a M18 hacksaw to go on sale vs. purchasing the M12 version. The M18 version has significantly more power and very similar footprint with the ability to add larger more powerful batteries. The M12 is basically just good for light duty type work. I use the M18 hacksaw a lot to also trim tree branches so it has all kinds of utility in the backyard other than just the typical cutting of wood/plastic/metal.

I have not tried the cancel option. I select a store and don't pick up. The item is subtracted after the pick-up deadline. No gas is wasted to drive pack to the store and also selected the nearest store just in case I have issues in order to reslove.

That isn't a relevant video. It compares the non-fuel M12 vs fuel M18. The product in this deal is the M12 fuel which is much larger and more powerful than the non-fuel M12.

That is not the M12 Fuel. You posted an M12 brushed Hacksaw versus an M18 Fuel Hacksaw. I agree that the M18 Fuel is more powerful but if you are looking for small versatile and lighter tool this is it.

it's not giving me the option to cancel the pick up item. Then do I just don't pick up and wait for it to be returned?
