Correct. With the Milwaukee free add-ons, when added to the cart, the add-on is assigned it's own price which then makes it returnable for that amount.

Thanks! Maybe can sell the bag and charger on eBay for $15-20? I'm starting to accumulate them from these kits.

Also if anyone is interested, a previous front page deal for a recip blade set is still available. 18-piece for $20. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../321284603

After the fees etc, you'll make like $5 from that ebay sale. Facebook marketplace is the better route.

Did you click on the free gift and then add both the item and the free gift to your cart? Then look at the individual prices for the items in your cart? The deal is still working. RIF

I have both the M12 and M18 hackzall. The M12 version is very underpowered and not a good tool for that battery line. The M18 is more powerful and has a lot less vibration when using it. The M18 version doubles as a great branch trimmer as well.

Same thing goes with the multi-tool i.e. underpowered for the M12 version. Some tools work well with M12 batteries. Generally those are tools that don't require a tremendous amount of power or torque.

I have heard similar things about this tool.

Other than low power with this tool it also suffers from short stroke length 5/8" vs. the M18 (7/8"). That means it takes longer for the M12 version to cut through material and also causes it to have a lot of vibration/chatter when using it. Also due to the lower voltage with the M12 batteries the runtime per Ah is much shorter as well.

Yeah, Facebook marketplace...HARD PASS. Ridiculous lowball offers and people are only slightly less skeevy than Craigslist
