Follow the Hyken headrest mod, https://imgur.com/gallery/XwE7F I'm 6'3 and have had this chair for 2 years. Takes 10 minutes and doesn't damage the mesh if you do it right.

If you're 5'10 or taller, don't get this chair - the headrest is too low and can't be raised. It will dig into your shoulders.

Have this chair (like everyone else). I am short and think it's quite comfortable in terms of back support.

However the mesh is really cheap and coarse and if you or another user wears shorts that fall too far above your knee, it will be extremely uncomfortable up your thighs and leave diamond mesh patterns on them.

Overall decent chair I definitely suggest headrest mod. Quality is pretty good, plastic pieces are a bit wobbly. Definitely more of a narrow chair not a bad thing just depends on your preference. I give it a (B) rating.

The mesh bottom didn't provide enough support for me and I had noticeable lower back pain from this chair after a few hours in it. I tried stuffing the mesh seat with a pillow and that did help but I eventually returned it. I was really hoping the chair would be good for me based on its popularity.

I'm 5'9 150# and thought the headrest was ok.

+1 on the headrest issue if you're around 6' or taller. My boss is about 5'10" / 170 and loves his. Still a great chair, 3-years running but the age is starting to show (I weigh over 200). This might be worth it because mine might not make it a full 1 more year and would prefer gray to red.

These go on sale for about $150 pretty regularly

I'm 5'11, but wide with broad shoulders. Should I get this or the Dexley Mesh Task Chair that others have mentioned?

I'll take the headrest mod a step further... Don't use it. It's a task chair, you don't need it.The chair is a 9/10 with the stock headrest omitted.

There are a couple of aftermarket headrests that won't give you spinal damage if you're really into task chairs with headrests though.

Returned it because I'm 5'10" and the mesh was too rough.

I also don't use the headrest. It pushes your head forward. It's a great chair w/o it.

but at 5'9...it's great for us haha

I've used the warranty to get new armrests after 5 years. Process was easy over the phone as long as you have the chair and order details.

I'm 5'7", ~140-150, and still use this chair as a daily driver. I can see what people say about the mesh being coarse, but I don't find it a problem with clothes on. My positions are usually slouching backwards or leaning forwards in "serious gamer" mode. I don't have any back pain with this chair, and the armrests are a good height for me with a keyboard tray. Good luck!
