well now gotta test if my old ASRock B450M PRO4 ( with upgraded bios ) motherboard can handle this CPU. iffy... review suggests X570, B550, and A520 motherboards
I guess the iGPU is about the third of the speed of a GTX 970 looking at the reviews
You're not going to be doing much gaming on this, without a proper GPU, but at least it gives you an otherwise fully functional PC for productivity while you wait for the newegg shuffle gods to smile upon you.
$359 buy it directly from AMD, free shipping (not sure how fast it ships though) https://www.amd.com/en/direct-buy/us

I used to play Starcraft on an 2500k iGPU so I'm really looking forward to upgrading to the 5700G. Sold my 3yr old GTX 2070 recently for a decent profit.

There might not be that much advantage on X570 and B550. One big advantage of X570 is the chipset has PCIE4 lanes + PCIE4 from CPU and B550 has PCIE4 only if the CPU has it, chipset only has PCIE3.
But 5600G and 5700G do not have PCIE4 in CPU, so using X570 or B550 you don't get PCIE4 anyway.
