Have they fixed the ghosting issues in Game Mode yet for the U6G? I know that there was a firmware update last week that had fixed the ghosting issues on the U8G, and presumably the U7G, but I've heard anything about the U6G having a firmware update to fix its ghosting issues, which has been a dealbreaker for a lot of gamers.

According to rtngs.com the 50 and 55 inch are VA panels with 32 local dimming zones so the answer to your question would be Yes.
