correction, they took away the best feature of samsung pay, Magnetic Secure Transmission. Samsung pay is still there but its effectiveness got reduced by more than 80% for the type of transactions I used to use it for.

Finally pulled the plug on the Fold 3 after much contemplation. Not happy with a few things in the Fold 3 - no microsd, not as good of a camera, no native spen holder like Note and obviously the price. But, it is the next big thing in phones and it didnt cost me too much, so happy with it. Following is the breakdown of what I paid :

Galaxy Z Fold3 5G 512GB - 871.24 (Student discount)
Samsung Note 20 5G Ultra Trade In
Wireless Charger Duo - 0 (coming from my 200 accessory bonus)
Galaxy Z Fold3 Flip Cover with S Pen, Black - 0 (coming from my 200 accessory bonus)
urlhasbeenblocked Cash Back - 12% - 104
Total - 1051 - 104 = $947

FWIW, I was thinking of pulling the trigger on the AT&T Flip 3 from Samsung and I cross referenced with AT&T. AT&T offering it for free with $1000 trade in of any S9 or newer- way better deal for those who have their service and don't have an existing installment plan.

I use trade-in and my final price before tax was about ~900. My state/county has a total tax rate ~8%. Then when I check out, the tax was $142. Seems Samsung calculated tax based on the original price before trade-in? Shouldn't tax be collected after adjusting trade-in value? Am I missing something here? Thanks!

Mine order is taxed after trade-in and discount which is only $18.

One of the fastest and has been for a couple years. Monthly updates and even faster than Pixel phones, obviously not including major updates.

Was able to get 512gb unlocked and watch 4 lte 44mm, for $791.48(plus tax). Traded in my fold 2 for -900 and active watch 2 for -150. Minus samsung money card discount(which I think is similiar to epp), and the reserve extra 100. The 200 accessory credit was applied to the watch which brought it down to 64 dlls...

Its 200, but they adjust the 100 ini the memory upgrade.
