I just zoomed in on the ingredients label and there doesn't appear to be corn syrup in this.

doesn;t say anything about corn syrup. been buying this for years (only 3 types at the local grocery) and it has never had corn syrup.

edit: i see now the one you are referencing is the garlic onion one, normal/sea salt one doesn't have corn syrup.

This is a good-tasting sauce, but I no longer buy it because it contains corn syrup. I actually prefer the sugar-free sauces.

What are Roma "Style" Tomatoes?

Amazon label pic says 'style' while Walmart does not include that curious word on the label but does in the description. Also, Walmart is not non-GMO based on the label. This is all so confusing. Perhaps one is counterfeit?

Hmmm. Unless they changed the recipe, this is from the site:

Ingredients: Tomato puree (water, tomato paste), salt, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, garlic powder, onion powder, spices.

Average jarred tomato sauces are like $1-1.50/ea at 24oz all the time. Is this much better then those or something?

In short, yes — toss some basil, thyme, garlic, and a little water if you want to thin it a bit. Much fresher and more authentic tasting than the jar sauces for just a couple minutes' work. A little salt and sugar to taste.

I spent 20+ years with nothing but jarred sauces and it's a big difference. We still do jars most of the time, but these are a nice treat.
