$16.88 is regular Walmart price for 48qt Igloo or Rubbermaid cooler. Thank being said it is much cheaper than anywhere else. As someone mentioned, elsewhere they run around $30. I have never been able to beat Walmart price on these even when buying a full truckload from manufacturer.
Point is, if you don't need it now you can always buy at another time for the same price.
Source- Purchasing manager for export company who has been purchasing over 1000pc /year of these for close to a decade.
Bonus side note - These are the perfect size if you need a cooler as a check in bag with airlines.

I snagged a blue one when it was also on sale for $16.88 a couple weeks ago. It's large and great for camping.

This comes in handy with a seafood boil. Line the cooler with a trash bag and dump the liquid and crabs in the cooler.
