Every time these come on these supposed "sales" the comments are filled with people saying these are terrible made in china batteries that don't hold charge , leak, or just lose charge after a week or two. The recommendation is to buy Panasonic enloops or Ikea rechargables that are made in Japan instead.

Interesting item of note, Amazon is showing these particular batteries with Malaysia listed as the country or origin, not China.

Better, same or worse who knows, but it sounds like where they are being produced has shifted again.

Edit: the ones that arrived were made in China, not Malaysia as listed on the webpage. Posting for accuracy in case anyone looks at this in the future.
