Yup just a webcam, yup it's better than the one in your laptop.
Autofocus, good enough to quickly adjust when you hold up a book, demo sci experiment or do art. (I have better camera and capture card for this but this at least will work ok.
Logitech zoom software so can crop out when only want you in it but wide if want few people you and room.
Screw mount if want to place it higher or different angle to control what you show. Turn etc
Old and new Microsoft, dell and Lenovo webcams are now available too. BUT this Logitech is if you want the standard good cam.
I use it with Nvidia Broadcast and get excellent depth of field. I had bought Aukey previously and it required too much tuning to look properly. This webcam will work great outside of the box.

For some reason, this camera does not work well with my Microsoft Teams software. The picture is very low resolution. It does not look like a problem of the camera hardware itself but I do not find a way to solve. Just FYI.
I wish the fov was wider, like 140* min.
Does anyone know or recommend a UVC camera that works with Android/Linux? Trying to integrate one into an Android head unit.
I have two of these (one was a warranty replacement). The auto focus on my original wouldn't work now and again. The replacement still has an issue now and again but the problem isn't as frequent. The "quick fix" is to go to the Logitech camera app and disable and re-enable autofocus and it'll snap back into focus.
That being said, I like the camera. It has a much wider angle lens than my previous Logitech 270. Picture quality is much better too. Not amazing but pretty decent.

This is probably something pretty specific to your own setup. I use one of these daily with Teams and have since the beginning of COVID due to working from home. No issues whatsoever and blows the built in camera on my laptops out of the water.
-edit- Come to think of it, I've used this thing with Skype, Webex, Zoom, RingCentral, Teams... never found an issue with any of them and the camera has always performed consistently. It even tracks very well in my dark office with very little natural light.
That said, it kinda annoys me that this is only $60 since I had to buy mine during the pandemic demand increase. I think I wound up giving over $115 for one of these and I was just lucky to be able to find one at all. Ah well. This too shall pass.

Will the Logitech software work as a "capture card" device?
Will it record any "video streaming" in an open Chrome browser window?
Thanks
Will it record if I have the camera pointed at the computer monitor?
Thanks

I think all time low was $50 https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/649465 but this is still a decent price.
