got 3, thanks!
Hopefully you have multiple lines, these require activation in 45 days of delivery. You can a lil past 45 if you get lucky with a CS rep, but not enough to stack these for one line.

we know - the APN from mint was then ignored
and data reverted to a t-mobile default APN.
trust me, we spent hours trying to get working.

the point is, mint's support is far more limited
or far less trained in what they are able to do.
I agree. Setting up the apn didn't help for me too!

Umm no it isn't. This deal is for $10 a month where the normal price for the same plan on 12 months is $20 per month.

Anyone else notice the $1.50 E911 fee they added to the plan? That wasn't there last time as I recall.
Must vary by state, mine:
Prepaid Wireless 988 charge $0.08 (first time I've seen this)
Prepaid Wireless E-911 Charge $0.55

NOTE: This is a Best Buy Deal of the Day

If it doesn't activate you can always buy again at regular price and return the one that didn't work.
How? Does Best Buy only capture the UPC and doesn't know if its been activated or not?

Personal experience, we've had by far the worst service through Mint. We're switching out immediately once our plan is up. Only positives for us were that we were able to talk to a live person relatively quick and price is extremely cheap.

So the trick is to port your number to google voice. Then you get the mint mobile deal, since up as new customer, get random phone number and you forward it to your number through google voice. And then it works everytime there is a deal. No need to port out then back in 30days later. Just get the deal sign up as new customer everytime, swap sim out and forward the number.

I have done this for awhile and works every time for us.

Is there a time limit for activation?
You have 45 days to activate. But this promo comes up very often so if you don't care about keeping your number, you can buy this every time it comes on sale. I'm certain by then, your current activation will be expiring or at least be within the 45 days of activation requirement

This is really the only way to go to really take advantage of these promotions. Once I ported to over Google Voice, I saw the light! lol!

I found a Mint sim that I bought 8 months ago , I activated it on the Mint website on my PC without a problem and put it in my iPad.

YMMV

OHHHH and these normally have been Deal of the day , so order soon

Sometimes, but not always. For those issues, I just use the actual phone number that mint gives me, not my google voice number.

I got in on the last deal and my experience is that approx 80% it is fine, 15% of the time it is slow and patchy and 5% of the time it completely craps out. And that's happened while I had many bars and LTE+ showing. I have been left stranded, dropped calls due to this... The throttling turned out to be worse than I expected so I would ask around for local experience before switching. My experience was in Houston and surrounding areas.
