What games do ya'll play with this? My main driver is an iPhone but my free T-Mobile Galaxy A32 with the Android Kishi let's me play my XBox and Ps5 remotely. I'd consider getting this but I don't do many controller based iPhone games….help me justify buying this Smilie

I use mine a lot(android version usb c). This plus xbox game pass is a real game changer. I've tried a lot of the solutions to gaming on the phone and by far this is the best experience.

Use AltStore to sideload Delta and RetroArch or Provenance and you've got yourself a pretty neat emulation setup.

You can play Xbox remote through Xbox app and PS5 through the PS remote play app, Steam Link from PC, just like Android. Game Pass cloud through Xbox.com/play or GeForce now in web. Apple Arcade has some high quality console-level games, today Baldo came out, FANTASIAN from the creators for Final Fantasy, other mobile ports like Monster Hunter Stories, much better than Android ports.

But I still think the best controller is the Xbox controller, which works with Android, iOS, Windows and Xbox and still cheaper. Or a PS5 controller also has wide support now, and is about the same price as this.

A lot of people mention Android but this deal is for iOS. Here are some good use cases for it.

Stadia (NOT an app, go to their webpage)
Amazon Luna (NOT an app, go to their webpage)
PlayStation Remote Play

Apple Arcade games I enjoyed with it:
Fantasian
World Of Demons
World's End Club

I stopped my subscription after beating Fantasian (pretty good game but it's only half a game fyi).

I don't have an Xbox so I don't have up to date information but I think Microsoft released their xCloud web client too, you might want to google that to be sure. I'm also sure they have Xbox Remote Play type of app too. Most likely there's also Steam Remote Play.

Works well with something like Stadia or GeForce Now.

Does this work with a phone case or does the phone need to be naked?

I just bought a Razer Raiju. I actually prefer that over Kishi as I dont have to take the phone case off my 21 Ultra. It also feels much more premium

If I want to play Xbox on my iPhone, can I do it with this, or do I actually need the Xbox version? Any idea the differences?

There is no difference aside from visual aspects.

Kishi is great in that its a hard connection via the thunderbolt port. This means 0 input latency which seems to be the primary culprit of latency fox Xbox streaming games (when you have a good connection) and not the actual streaming.

The drawback of the Kishi (and also the Backbone) is that they are designed to be used without a phone case which can be annoying to remove each time you want to play. I've seen some people modify their Kishi taking out the bumpers and getting little pads to secure it with a case.

Vs the Raiju - Raiju can be used with a case out of the gate, and maybe more comfortable form factor for some people, it also supports small tablets/galaxy note sized phone. I think you can use it via USB-C but you need a cable. I don't know if it will work with iOS, but I assume so over Bluetooth. Raiju can also be used with PCs as a normal controller.

Still love my kishi. Use it almost daily to play PC games via Moonlight. Also emulators. Much prefer it over my Steelseries Duo (although I use the duo for other applications). Even with my Galaxy S21 Ultra, I can slide this right on without removing my case by removing the rubber bumper from the kishi.
