I actually bought 2 of them, I saw a deal earlier posted on SD,

This for 1050

1299 (200 off)- but I have a coupon code for 50 more off, and I get 4% back from my credit card since its costco credit card and I get like 2-3 years warranty with costco.

I dont need portability, I just want a decent gaming laptop I can hook up to my tv and play steam etc. I have an iMac in my office room, maybe I can figure out how to hook it up to that display. but thats why I dont want a desktop intel.

Let me know if for 100 dollars the MSI is better or not than that. or another laptop for around 1200-1300 that smokes both of them. portability I dont care about, just going to be a home laptop.

costco one, video card is better. the screen is bigger too which might be nice if you aren't using an external monitor.

It sounds like a SFF PC might be a better bet than a laptop if all you plan to do is hook it up to external displays.

this is probably true but good luck finding one in stock with a 30 series card.

I ordered the costco one, then I saw people saying they got 300 off, they took 150 off for me via phone, 100 off the sale additional + I had a 50 off coupon they slapped on there too. shipped for 1250 tax included. they told me I get 4 yer warranty too since I am costco executive and I used costco visa, and I get 4% cash back. seems like an epic deal to me. so happy

I CANNOT WAIT! I may use it as a stand alone, I got a nice little office I can set it on a desk and play on. I had a Lenovo game laptop with dual Nvidia 525M or whatever, I sold it like 4 years later for 300. I looked up specs, this has over 3000% better graphics than that.

I got lucky and I got 2500 dollars in stocks profits off Robinhood today, so it paid for my iMac and this laptop!
