The Logitech Connection Utility [logi.com] software comes in handy. In case you mix up or lose nano receivers. Allows you to reassign it to another non-unifying receiver. Smilie

Hmmm, actually it looks like these have the Unifying receiver, based on the pics in the reviews. Ever better. Title just mentioned Nano receiver. I see the description says it comes with the Unifying receiver. Logitech website [logitech.com] even says it includes a Unifying receiver.

Probably will need the Logitech Unifying Software [logi.com] instead.

Much smaller than the M510, these are actually very similar to (if not the same as) the M325. Small mice meant for laptops/travel. The M325 are by far my favorite small/laptop mice, but I would go nuts if I had to use it 24x7 compared to a full size mouse like the 5 series. My wife uses one all day long though with no complaints.

The AA battery will literally last months and months. I don't know about a year, but a really long time. I use rechargeable eneloop AA.

Unifying receiver is awesome. You can mix and match different mice and keyboards and leave the usb receiver permanently plugged into your laptop. The only time I had a problem with this was when I had a mouse paired to 2 different laptops and had both on at the same time... it doesn't like that.

I bought this when it was on a deal from target for like 7 bucks. Didn't get around to using it until several months later and it had a good deal of input lag. Would not use with anything besides maybe web browsing.

Yeah they are not great for games, but I play stuff like Diablo 3 and Civ ok. Also be sure to put the usb receiver as close to the mouse as possible, whichever side you're using etc.

edit - oh why not, I bought another one to have as a spare.
