Picked up this QN65Q8DTAFXZA (2020 model) refurbished at my local Microcenter for $799.99. Comes with 90-day warranty and confirmed with my Chase Credit (Southwest card) that it gives me an additional 1-year of warranty after the 90-day Samsung warranty expires. Been watching tv deals for a few months and couldn't find anything that compares to this price point. Hopefully others find this useful as well. Seems like many locations have stock. They were not on the floor at my microcenter so the associates may not even be aware they have them. I ordered online and picked up in store. Came in manufacturer's box. This is the warehouse model so the speakers are upgraded compared to the stand Q8D. Reviews on RTINGS are pretty amazing and the tv looks amazing in my basement so far!

The NEO QLEDs have many more, smaller, backlight dimming zones, making them perform better. This has full array backlighting, but the zones are going to be larger, so they can't be as precise when making colors pop.
Thank you.

After all my questions; I bought one today. Brought home; opened the box...There was a huge crack on the back of the TV.. did Not even turn it on.... put it to the box; went back and returned...
It is a pretty big TV and big Hassle to buy and return. It may be a good TV at an OK price ( brand new QLED 65" is on sale for $1,050.00 at Micro Center).... it is not worth at all to buy a Refurbished TV.

If this is manufacturer refurb, then it's a pretty good ideal but otherwise, you probably gonna want to buy extended warranty. 90 days is a joke.

I just got a regular Samsung remote (not the smart/fancy one that comes with the TV) and was able to check the hours on the TV to see how much it had been used before I got it. I've had it for 2 weeks at this point and have really enjoyed it. The menu showed 10… 10 hours, of which I easily could have been all of them. Looks like I got essentially a brand new tv with a total of 3+ years warranty (2 purchased for $99, 1 chase credit card) for under $1k.

Hope others have been as lucky. TV still shows on sale and in stock by me.

Did you just buy their protection plan?

Would is be possible that the manufacturer is resetting the viewing hours on the refurb units?

Or is that illegal, like setting back the odometer on a used car?

How do you check hours? My remote doesn't have numbers. Just small smart remote. My tv looked brand new and looks amazing.

You will need a Samsung remote with the old school numpad. Check out this article. https://factory-reset.com/wiki/Sa...rvice_Menu

Yes, I paid $99 for an additional 2 years of warranty through Micro Center. They're right down the street from me, and they allow for reimbursement of other party repairs if you want someone else to do the work, so I felt ok about it. I've bought tons of things from them before and as a company they seem on the up and up.

These aren't manufacturer refurbished, so it's very unlikely that they set the hours back to 0. I think it's more likely that people purchase the TV and then either find a better deal and return it, or purchase multiple TVs and decide quickly which they like and return the other(s). Mine still had all of the plastic wrap on it, so I'm guessing it was likely the buy and return unopened.
