Pure assumption. And United States Bureau of Labor Statistics's 3 million number is a very broad category under "Architecture and engineering occupations", including jobs such as surveyors with high school degrees. Is that the best you can do?
7 million engineers and science professionals, who cares if it's over broad. That's 2% of the population right there. 20x your estimate. Add in graphic arts, professional video and photographers, hobbyists (vastly outnumber professionals), interior designers, architects, many types of computer programmers, random YouTubers who edit 4k videos, random gamers (or regular people) who heavily multi task or stream. I'm sure I'm forgetting many more.
But oh, the average sale price is $700 and 32gb computers are $969! Is that the best you can do?
