I previously bought this TV when it was $1499 at Micro Center. I PM'd at Best Buy, but I quickly returned it. It had horrible dirty screen effect. If you get any Samsung, be sure to test it out thoroughly when you get it.
I bought mine from Costco for $1799
Just couldn't get the color right on it no matter how I adjusted, thought I might just live with it. then the left 3" or so edge of the screen went black and white w no color plus some other wired stuff.
I took it back to Costco and they had 2 left (10 when I bought the first one)
Costco will not exchange so I returned it and brought one of the two left.
Much better
I'm happy w it so far but wonder if Samsung qc is slipping.
I paid w the Costco card so it does have a 7 year warranty
Asked what happens if it goes out in 2-3 years and the model is not available
Was told sometimes them might replace it with a comparable model but most time you will get a refund back
We see what the next 7 years bring

I'm glad the replacement model is working out for you. I have a temporary setup for a 75"-77" TV so it was a pain to box it up, and lug it down the stairs. I replaced it with the 77" LG CX, and we wall mounted it. I paid for the TV and the five year Geek Squad plan on my Citi credit card (two additional years warranty) for a total of seven year warranty. I haven't been able to find any reports about people utilizing the Citi Credit card extended warranty for an OLED TV, but we'll see.
Thank you for the suggestion to call the local store. On the website it showed sold out and also not available for pickup. But I called my local store (Sterling VA) and they had 1 in stock! Drove like a madman, saw it, signed up for a card, and got the last one. They did have a display model too (and it was easily the best picture of anything in the store!). Thanks OP!
If you talk to store manager they will refund $99 warranty cost. I was able to get $99 warranty refund .
Same. They couldn't figure out how to not charge for the warranty so they just knocked 99.99 off the TV price. I showed them a screenshot of their website saying the warranty was included.
My tv makes a very loud buzzing/whining noise when using it on game mode and any apps. It's very prominent of the volume is turned down to zero. Anyone else notice this?
