Also....what 80v system are you running expert landscaper?
My point is there are several benefits of moving to battery powered equipment vs. gas -- lower noise, easier refueling, fewer emissions.

I got a lowes 80v blower last fall and haven't used it all that much and it already seems like the battery life is down to about 5 minutes using the "turbo" button which is necessary to get gas-like power. And I heard lowes is discontinuing their 80V line. I know I can DIY mod greenworks batteries to fit but then you lose your warranty and they aren't cheap either.
I wouldn't do this myself, but from a financial perspective you'd come out ahead buying gas trimmers ( as long as you can get them this cheap ) and giving them away at the first sign of trouble. I guarantee you'll come out way ahead vs. electric over the next 10 years, or until they come out with a better battery technology.
