Make sure you keep a screenshot of your order summary where it mentions the gc. Knowing comcast you won't get anything and the horrible CS will ask you to cancel your service.

I've gotten multiple gift cards from XM without issue in deals like this. Last year the two I got with the iPhone 12 Pros came in like a month. It used to be 12-16 weeks and took every bit of that. Even though this isn't a significant upgrade for me, it's really tempting.

Nope. If you're a new customer and porting in - you get it as "bill credits over 24 months". If you terminate early, you lose the discount over the remaining period ($15 per month x number of months remaining); you'll effectively be paying full price less the number of months that you actually got the $15/mth discount.

If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits

1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

Add this to the list of reasons cable company monopolies stink. The Xfinity Mobile offer seems pretty solid. In a Charter / Spectrum area currently, and their equivalent Spectrum Mobile iPhone 13 deal is…..nothing. As usual. Pay full retail. Even their "trade in bonus" means the same trade in value you can get literally anywhere else

I just joined rewards program after the purchase of new phone, so I won't get the $25 visa card as a silver member?
By the way, I do not know why I was only counted as silver member, have been in comcast internet since 2008.
You have to join rewards and click on the promotion to redeem prior to buying the phone. You can also only do it once a year as someone in a prior post pointed out. Thus, I have been hesitant to even click on the promotion until I am sure I want to order (the current one expires in September and assume a new one will appear next month). I also don't know if you can even combine this promotion with the $300 one.

Your service has to be uninterrupted to qualify for the different levels. Cannot change names etc. It looks like you can contact xfinity about incorrect status though. I saw a page for that on their help page.

You need to redeem the offer before you purchase the phone.
Submit a case to revise your reward level is easy and they will change it for you based on the server address you started in 2008. If you moved the server in the past years, you need to provide each address where you moved your xfinity internet service so they can trace it.

What exactly should I do to get a $100 Visa Prepaid Card? I preordered an iPhone 13 last Friday, my Xfinity Reward showing "$100 back on an eligible Xfinity Mobile phone purchase
$100 Visa Prepaid Card" as "COMPLETE". Should I contact Xfinity Reward Center about the Visa Card. Or, I should have placed an order via s specific link? Since the phone is not yet shipped, I think I still have time to cancel the order and reorder one.

I'm not a Xfinity customer though my friend is so I suppose it would be an additional line and not a new customer situation.

Also, could you help me understand what you meant by "number from Ebay?"

Thanks

If you want the $300 bill credits, just have your friend order a new iPhone for you and port your number over

If you want the $300 gift card, have your friend port number over with a BYOD. After this transaction settles and your number is on XM, have your friend upgrade this line to the new iPhone and boom, $300 Visa card

Nope this doesnt work. BYOD promotion conflicts with $300GC promotion. So you'll receive the $25 gc and thats it for you.

Did you redeem the $100 offer in Xfinity reward center before you place the order? I have not placed my order yet, so not pretty sure on this, you can check with a xfinity agent for $100 reward.

I've read the thread but couldn't figure out an answer to my situation.

I'm not a XM customer but have a friend who is and is willing to add an additional line if it helps me get this deal. Is there perhaps a sequence of steps that gets me this promotion?

I do have an unused iPhone that is compatible with XM in case one of the steps involves BYOD but I don't have a number that I'd be willing to port in.

Thanks.
I am in same boat as you. Plan on using a friend to help me get this promotion.

While reading through the comments am sure BYOD conflicts with 300 gc. And even if it doesn't am okay to take a miss on BYOD (additional) discount as I know Xfinity from past some years being a Internet customer.

Here's what I plan to do and a follow-up problem if someone can help answer.

My friend's line is using iphone X where he would qualify for an upgrade and I will use this method to order the phone. Activate the phone through this method and keep sim in it for 15 days as that's a requirement.
Switch the sim back to old phone and I get to keep the new 13
Will Xfinity recognize both device in the account management or will it just identify 13 from here as the primary device?

I eventually plan to unlock 13 after 60 days and use per my choice of carrier

Thanks, but I am not quite sure whether I redeemed the $100 offer before placing the order or not. I placed the order last Friday. And I read your posting a couple of hours ago. Upon checking immediately thereafter, I saw $100 Visa Prepaid Card as "COMPLETE" under "My Activity" on my Xfinity Rewards account. Could "COMPLETE" mean I've already redeemed the offer properly?

Are you sure you are looking at the right promotion? There are two $100 offers for being an xfinity mobile customer. There was one where you got a $100 Visa Prepaid card for simply being at a Platinum tier (or whatever tier you are at) and having xfinity mobile. The other $100 offer is if you buy a NEW phone.

I signed up for xfinity mobile rewards last month and got the $100 Visa Prepaid. That reward says "COMPLETE" under my activity. I have not redeemed the $100 for buying the phone so I don't know how that appears in your account.

Xfinity mobile is definitely not a full service type of cell phone company. You have to do a lot of DIY and try to figure out the terms yourself. But for the price, I am willing to.

I am an existing XM customer for a few years and plan to upgrade my device paying the full price upfront. Has anyone tried to get the phone unlocked prior to 60 days cooling off period? Is it even possible to get it unlocked prior to 60 days after activation? I plan to continue with the XM service even after the phone is unlocked.

Has anyone tried this process yet ?
Edit- Just spoke to customer service… They won't upgrade through BYOD, this offer can only be redeemed with phones that are from Xfinity ONLY ! (For $300 gift card)

I got my wife's iphone12 pro unlocked after the first billing cycle ends, I called in and the agent helped to transfer to the unlock department they submitted the unlocked request. Phone gets unlocked the next morning. I'm a long time xfinity customer and we use xfinity on the shared 10GB plan.

Yes I usually call in the day I get the phone, and since it is paid in full, they immediately unlock the device for you!!! I've done this in prior years so I can add my work number to the phone as well (eSIM)
