Make sure you keep a screenshot of your order summary where it mentions the gc. Knowing comcast you won't get anything and the horrible CS will ask you to cancel your service.

I've gotten multiple gift cards from XM without issue in deals like this. Last year the two I got with the iPhone 12 Pros came in like a month. It used to be 12-16 weeks and took every bit of that. Even though this isn't a significant upgrade for me, it's really tempting.

Nope. If you're a new customer and porting in - you get it as "bill credits over 24 months". If you terminate early, you lose the discount over the remaining period ($15 per month x number of months remaining); you'll effectively be paying full price less the number of months that you actually got the $15/mth discount.

If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits

1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

The reward terms don't state anything that says you can't stack them with other offers or promotions. I'm going to go for it.
It states " May not be combined with other offers".
Why can't you all just call their CS and ask this question?

Did you get $300 GC right away at the store?
No, sorry for being unclear. I got the standard "you'll be mailed the GC in 4-6 weeks after phone activation" deal. I'm not sure if anybody is getting them right away.

This is untrue. I just went to an Xfinity store, transferred in two numbers from Google Fi and got a $25 GC for each line. Then I bought two iPhone 13 Minis and received two $300 GCs. All GCs are on my receipts.
Did you receive the gc's in the store or are they still mailed to you?

Also when do you get the phone from the store? Isn't it just preorder only right now?

Thanks,

-Guru

Hmm, my Rewards terms doesn't say that. Are you talking about the $300 XM promo terms? I didn't look at that one. TBH, calling XM will probably result in more questions and/or wrong answers.

Update: You're right, the XM terms state it can't be combined with other offers. BUT(!), I have a feeling it will stack. My anecdotal evidence is simply that I claimed and rec'd my $50 Gold reward debit card and it doesn't show up at all in my Xfinity rebate center website, where all of my previous XM rebates have been listed and are still listed from years past. I bet these two departments are oblivious to each other. YMMV!

Any one know if I can refuse the delivery of phone order? There is a $35 restocking fee for return, no matter package still sealed.

I ordered phones for two family members right when their site was going up. They were the last of the carriers with the listing up. One phone has shipped already and says the 24th, the other still hasn't shipped yet.

I'm still angry that they didn't list that the preorder limit was two since I wanted to upgrade the entire family. I'll just have to suffer with a cracked screen for a few more months. Who knows when these things will actually be in regular stock with the pre order dates into Nov.

Yes, I was just coming to say the same. Will they let you pre-order more in store?

No, I tried that. Went to the store and they couldn't do anything. Oddly enough one of the phones shipped and I was able to order a 3rd pre order. The process seemed to hang for quite some time but then it let it through. I'm not sure if it's the amount of time between the orders or the fact that one of the phones shipped or something else entirely.

Thanks, hopefully when one ships I'll be able to do the 3rd. If not I guess I'll go into the store Friday and try my luck.

Posting my experience from last year doing the $50 BYOD then the cheese route by upgrading for the $250 GC.

Late October: Placed order for BYOD.
1st Week of November: Received sim card and activated.
2nd Week of November: Placed an order for iPhone SE w/$250 GC.
3rd Week of November: Activated iPhone SE and used it as my primary device

Rebate status showed both $50 BYOD GC and $250 GC up until...

Mid-December: Both GC disappeared on rebate status website

Sometime in January: Rebate status showing the $50 BYOD GC was approved but the $250 GC still not showing up. This is when I had to file a dispute with the promotions department and for them to investigate since my 3 months were up.

In the end, they told me I can't stack 2 GC offers. After some back and forth they approved the $250 GC and voided the $50 BYOD GC.

Finally, received my $250 GC for purchasing the iPhone SE mid-March.

YMMV, so I decided to do the Tmobile promotions instead this year.

My order says the phone will ship on Nov 5th. Does this mean I will miss out on the promotion?
