Make sure you keep a screenshot of your order summary where it mentions the gc. Knowing comcast you won't get anything and the horrible CS will ask you to cancel your service.

I've gotten multiple gift cards from XM without issue in deals like this. Last year the two I got with the iPhone 12 Pros came in like a month. It used to be 12-16 weeks and took every bit of that. Even though this isn't a significant upgrade for me, it's really tempting.

Nope. If you're a new customer and porting in - you get it as "bill credits over 24 months". If you terminate early, you lose the discount over the remaining period ($15 per month x number of months remaining); you'll effectively be paying full price less the number of months that you actually got the $15/mth discount.

If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits

1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

My second pre-order shipped and it did allow me to then order a fourth phone so it's just the pre-order moving to a shipped state that frees up a pre-order slot.

Just trying to understand for my own case, so you still plan to use the old phone with Xfinity?
Yes, I'm gonna swap phones when it comes and re-activate her old phone on my existing account once the iphone 11 is activated.

I am an existing customer. I just got my new iphone. I put my old xfinity mobile SIM card into my new phone and it's ready to use. They also sent me a new SIM card together with the new iphone. Do I have to use the new SIM card in order to get the $300 visa prepaid card?

Yes. You also have to go into your account to activate the new SIM and phone. And you have to do this within 15 days. Once the new SIM is fully activated, you can toss the old one. Not environmentally friendly but that's just the way it is.

In addition to possibly jeopardizing the GC, the new phone won't automatically connect to Xfinity WiFi hotspots if you have the old SIM in it, because the old SIM is linked to your old phone.

One more piece of advice - after you activate, there's nothing stopping you from swapping the SIM to a different phone. However, you do need to have the SIM back in the phone you just bought when, in 60+ days, you ask Xfinity to unlock it.

It's $25 for BYOD now..it changes to $50 after 09/30

Is iphones will be locked or unlocked when existing customers buy with `Replacing device with Pay in Full` option ?? (Site showing eligible for $300 prepaid card but not talking about locked or unlocked)
Has anyone found or saved their actual deal offer for upgrading customers.I ordered mine late Sunday and forgot to save it. None of the order confirmation or Invoice e-mails show the 300 giftcard and customer service says that it is only for port-in and add a line.

I just ordered/upgraded and took screen shots at each step, which all showed the $300 gift card. I paid in full. It is not only for port-ins and adding a line. Specifically, the deal says "$300 Prepaid Card When you purchase this phone and activate it on an existing line."

Just got my iPhone 13 and had some issues with activation. Had to chat with support, and surprisingly they were able to resolve it and activate the device/sim card. I also submitted the unlock request while on chat with the rep. She had no issues with the request so hopefully it goes through (I paid in full).

Did you pay in full? Did you see the gift card in the cart? The gift card doesn't show on the order confirmation email.

You either get $300 off while paying monthly OR a $300 gift card if paying in full correct? So your not going to get $300 off while making payments and get a $300 gift card? I'm referring to existing customers.

Either:

1. $300 off split over the course of 24 monthly payments, meaning you'll have to stay with them for 24 months if you want to take advantage of the full savings

or

2. $300 Gift Card (last year it was a $300 Visa Gift Card that expired 08/2021, I think around 10 months after issuing it to me)

people are saying they can unlock the phone right after they paid in full and activation but I just tried to do it and they told me I need to wait 60 days. Existing member too.

I had my new iPhone 13 delivered and activated this afternoon. Interestingly, "Carrier Lock" setting shows "No SIM restrictions". Does it mean Xfinity sent out unlocked phone this time?
