If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits
1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

Looking to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy A50 (already on XM) to a new IPhone 13 Pro. I have read in the past that the Iphone's can be data hogs? This would be for my wife who is on wifi most of the day (at work and at home) but she keeps her data on at all times. Most months we are able to stay under the 1 gig of usage on XM.
Just wondering what peoples results are as far as data usage goes with Iphones on XM? Anyone come from Android on XM to Iphone on XM and can give me some real world comparisons? I would hate for the new Iphone to eat through data and bump up our XM bill. And no my wife won't turn off her data, lol.
Thanks,
-Guru

I've found that increased data usage could be due to some of the settings being auto re-enabled after an update (or as shipped). There are many settings that use quite a bit of data behind the scenes.
I'd suggest checking out the following youtube video: iOS 15 Settings You Need To Turn Off Now by Payette Forward (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxdoC2sG1i4) or something similar for suggestions on which ones to turn off (or on depending on the case).
Good luck.

Me (iPhone): 0.39GB
Wife (Pixel): 0.46GB
Most months, my usage is around 0.5 GB and my wife would typically be around 0.3 GB.
I ordered 9/27 - estimated delivery 11/05 - I had to wait on a new CC to arrive to put in my order so it was painful seeing the backorder continue to stretch out.
Seems like basically everyone else has priority over xfinity mobile... for example Verizon, Bestbuy, ATT all have mid october ship dates...

i got mine in 2 days, some of the colors take a bit longer for shipping
It was back ordered when I received the confirmation email but shipped soon after that.
