I have this installed in my Ps4 (non Pro) and have had no problems been about a year now. Games load faster (internal) and runs much smoother. Also for have the Samsung Evo in my Ps4 Pro but on the regular 4 it's much more noticable. Highly reccomend

Quote from Link6204 :
No I meant what I said. Performance wise green and blue are about equal. Greens are just quiet/low power consumption. Blues are made as an "average drive for most home users" black is for performance and reliability. There's a reason why green and blue typically come with a 2yr warranty and black goes to 5yr. By all means, if you are going from a spinning disk to a ssd in a laptop you use for email, Reddit, web browsing, sure get a cheap crappy ssd like this, it will be leaps and bounds better. By by no means is a blue a "great deal" unless you are coming from a spinning disk. I just see no reason to spend money on a mediocre upgrade when you can spend $10-20 more in most cases to get a better drive, just makes no sense. Quick example I found in 2 seconds saying the same thing I said(yes I know this is spinning disks but their lines are their lines and colors have stayed consistent for decades) https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&s...DzXIbzbbdS [google.com]
This is one of the most bizarre opinions! WD Blue is the top of the line SATA SSD drive from WD. They do not make "WD black" SATA SSDs at all. One can just consult this spreadsheet:
http://ssd.borecraft.com/

Performance wise, WD Blue SATA looks real good too, on par with Crucial MX500 and Hynix S31.

I wonder if the demand for high end SATA drives has dropped given the shift to NVME, and so there is now a bit of spare supply offered at slight discount.

Both thumbs down for Newegg. They used to be the best sadly. Never buy anything there now.
