EDIT: I must be thinking about something entirely different because I just did some googling and, apparently, the Nest Hub is claimed to have 50% more bass and a cleaner audio experience than the Home Hub. My apologies for the misinformation
EDIT EDIT: I was partially right and partially wrong. when Google rolled out the, "Nest" rebrand, they were putting stickers over the Google Home Hub boxes but that was the 1st gen model. The 2nd gen model has the audio improvements. So, the Google Home Hub and the Nest Hub are the exact same device. the Nest Hub 2nd gen is the only model with the audio improvements

I think 2nd gen was rebranded to Nest Hub. I have both versions but what is the difference between 1st and 2nd gen?

From my understanding, they are the exact same. I remember when they first changed the name, Google went so far as to put stickers over the original packaging to get the, "Nest" rebrand kicked off quickly across all of their product lineup.

My order went through and the email confirm is the $45 price plus tax and a local ewaste fee whch is about $52 in total (correct amount). Then less than 5 mins later I have a second charge go through on my card for $45.48.
There isn't much to track
