That's a family of 6. Not that weird; each box is meant for one person (you're supposed to test twice, 36 hours apart).

Can this be used to show proof of negative test if required?

Each kit comes with 2 tests, so it would be for a family of 12. Regardless this is a decent deal on them considering they will be selling at $15 a kit for the next 3 months.

Associated Press:
"To make rapid tests more affordable big retailers like Wal-Mart and Kroger have agreed to sell them at a 35% discount for the next three months. But the cheapest test — Abbott's BinaxNOW — would still sell for about $15 for a two-pack, out of reach for some families looking to frequently test themselves."

Highly unlikely, appears to be for home use / cautionary checking to avoid or delay trip to medical testing lab/doctor, etc. Marked as not eligible for return into US, likely not eligible for all the other clearances, e.g., departing to another country. Given it's not proctored, it's wide open to scamming who took it. Thus, only valuable as an emergency check. For us, I bought one kit each to test while in UK before taking test to return to US, to get early warning that we might have reentry issues.

The site I went to in Fort Lauderdale last month were using this same exact product for rapid test administration. They had a table with them piled up. I could be wrong, but most places I've seen that require proof of negative tests require a PCR one and not rapid test results. I've been using these for my son who has asthma and not eligible for the vaccine yet. So far no issues with them. Thanks Op. repped + Thumbsup

Definitely not, since they won't know who took the test.

Not if they've given any thought whatsoever about their systems and failure points. But it's probably dependent upon the venue or whomever is in charge of enforcing that rule. Your best bet is to contact them.

I have the version of this with the app and video chat service that helps you do test, confirm your putting it in your nose not the cat, then give you QR code. Same test but cost $30 in the past. I had ordered 40 last month and the supplier cancelled order. It would have been $7 each due to bulk.

I care for elderly with dementia , already vax but wanted the ability to test them or anyone with cold/flu symptoms instantly.

In NYC schools RSV is currently rampant, I have easy access to rapid or PCR test no line most days and free if I needed. I'm just too busy to even wait on 30 min line. Having a rapid can help with guess if covid or something else.

My Dr office doesn't trust this test not sure why if symptomatic so didn't help me much but if I use 2 boxes over t days all neg ANR I'm vaccinated... pretty confident not covid.

That said the RSV was in my lungs like I've never felt in my life so video Dr and got z pack

Hopefully I'm just wasting $ on these kits. Id rather have them ready more than an extra $100.

Not for a family of 12. Each box is designed for one person to test twice to confirm results since these are not the most sensitive for detecting the virus.
