Have bought dozens of jars of Cerave from Amazon…have never had counterfeit issues and it's pretty easy to feel consistency differences in generic and brand cerave.

As a reference, I have bought certain things from Amazon that were fakes, like Gillette Mach 3 razor blades. There are definitely things like that I won't touch from Amazon, but my personal experience around cerave and aquaphor has been legit so far.

On a side note, Costco is selling a 2-pack of 16oz cerave jars for $21(?) with $5 off starting this week when the new promos kick in for October.

These are really a gamble to order from Amazon. From my understanding, Amazon gets product from all different vendors including counterfeit ones. They stick them all in the same bin, then the robot or human takes one out and fills your order.

So I won't buy soaps or things that are easily counterfeit on Amazon. No sweat for Amazon, they will just send you another one.. but if you get a rash or worse.. was it worth it?

So, is anti-aging stuff a scam or what? I'm wanting to take better care of my face in particular... but I'm overwhelmed by all these things. I know people say SPF lotion, retinol at night, etc... but don't know if there's more to know that isn't advertising crap. I have oily & very sensitive skin fwiw.

Amazon is the better deal.

Buy 3 sixteen ounce @ 14.99 minus $10 Target GC for $34.97 is 72.8 cents per ounce.

Buy 3 nineteen ounce @ 15.28 (S&S 5% discount) minus $10 actual cash back for $35.83 is 62.9 cents per ounce. And that's not counting the 40% off one item coupon from Amazon. I couldn't get it, perhaps because I've ordered this product before.

Vanicream face soap....but, it takes awhile. If you strip or block pores all the oil off your face, your body pumps out more oil to lube up. Vanicream wont completely strip your skin. It is noncomedogenic (won't block pores) and doesn't have many bad things in it. Dermatologist recommended. Hope that helps.
