I would recommend keeping the bare minimum apps you can on the device itself, buy an SD card, use an app that forces apps to be installed in SD card but make sure only important apps are installed on the device itself & get a dual layer case. Turn off antiliasing from developer mode & placing a solid color background because it helps with speed, some fps, & slightly extends battery life.
I'm surprised its 2021 and this has the specs of a tablet I bought in 2012. $49.99 is ridiculous for a tablet that only has 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM and the screen is also only 720p

More space, more RAM, and a better processor.

I feel like it is a good beater tablet for the kids for the price, so that's why I posted it.

I already have the RCA tablet with similar specs to the non-Pro version that I bought a couple of years ago for $25. It wasn't even worth that because it is painfully slow.

Seems like plenty available around me. It sucks that they're not showing local stock/price anymore in the Walmart app.

The previous non-Pro models were just bad. This one raises to the level of mediocre.

If it drops to $25 I might bite...

These Onn Tablets are pretty good. My kids all three have one after I picked them up for $79 each on sale. Only weak point is the USB C ports as they tend to get "floppy" sooner than a USB C port should. Otherwise they're great and run Android 10 with the latest security patches.

I bought the RCA tablet too but it was $35 with keyboard. I ended rooting it to delete stubborn unnessary apps, turned off antiliasing, optimized it, placed solid color background, added a 64gb SD card, bought a dual layer case for it, & unrooted it to give to my child for a starter tablet. It was decent speed for it's time but it only lasted a few years because the screen stopped working. He now has a Dragon tablet you can get on Amazon. Thanks for the link & RCA reference. I will probably get this for a backup for my child.

Yes, you can put YouTube on it (if it doesn't already have it). It IS NOT like the Amazon Fire tablet's closed ecosystem.
