Noticed the packaging is different than what I've seen before. See pic. Maybe that's why this is the only Walmart in my area that has it for $20?

I am very confused about what this device actually does. How is it different from a Roku or Firestick? No details really on the Walmart page.

My area is also at $29.95 but stores all have plenty of stock

These were $10 earlier this year, went back to $40, now $20. The bots have overtaken Walmart

It's pretty similar to a Firestick or Roku, with just a slightly different UI. You can still run all of the same streaming apps on it as you can on the others. I believe you can modify the software to make it more similar to a generic Android TV box if desired. I had one a while back, because I was considering replacing all of my Firesticks with these. I really liked it until Android TV got updated and then I hated the new UI. But the one nice thing is the Tivo remote.

Walmart also had the Lenovo basic smart clock with a light bulb for $17 at my store. Brickseek showed 0 in stock, even though there quite a few available.

these are amazing for the price. way better than firestick and roku IMO. Runs android / google, and runs it very well. No issues with IPTV, Plex, 4k, etc. And the Tivo Remote is fantastic.

Ive got one Shield for the main room, and 3 or 4 of these for the others. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

You don't see many of these streaming sticks or dongles that can do both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

However, unless its a fairly new device with a new processor, I have a fear of these things hitching up if you are attempting to stream alot of 4K content and moving through menus quickly.
