I finally made the jump to silicone some time ago and won't go back to the crap rubber blades that you have to replace every couple months.
Two blade minimum per order. Price doesn't include $2 S&H per blade. Better off getting these in store.
I'm not suggesting driving there just for wiper blades. Can't argue with you about food court temptation. 👍

These are garbage. Bosch icon best wipers. You can look on YouTube to see people doing tests
Yeah, the Icons are pretty solid. Had them on my last 2 cars, and this one had an old pair of Isons on it when I bought it. They were old, but the new ones are doing well, don't usually rub, make a very clean pattern as long as there isn't any crap under them (and then, it's just the same streaks you'd get from a pine needle under rubber, too). No idea what this smearing nonsense is about. Maybe if you took your truck mudding with a torn up old windshield that could happen, but I get plenty of crud on my windshield and these do well.

I was going to buy a pair of silicone Michelin endurance xt advanced wipers at Walmart.com but for some reason they tack on a Tire recycling fee of 3.50 for buying wipers. Wth... Anybody heard of this practice? Seems fraudulent.

These are wipers, not wiper blades. Wiper blades are like a dollar each. These are the entire wiper. People don't replace blades these days because they are a) incompetent and don't know or care how to, or b) just lazy and don't care about money... case in point -- bargain hunting for a deal on $9 wipers with blades to buy them for $6, a full 500% higher cost than just replacing the blades in the wipers they already have.

Also found these to be junk. Costco is uncomfortably close to our house, so we go there too much....argh.

Bosch Icon for me also, every time since. Totally not worth trying to figure out if another brand is any good when I know the Icons will work and hold up. Northern Midwest climate - from 90s in the summer to below zero in the winter.

Man these blades are terrible and short lived. Probably only lasted about 4 months for me, not it is just doing a terrible job at wiping.

Had a bad one right out of the box - put more water on the windshield on the downswing

I wonder if the people having bad experiences live in areas with more harsh weather, like snow/cold winters. These lasted almost two years for me before they started squeaking. Maybe because I live Southern CA where weather is so mild.

Got these last year. For some reason they make a loud noise when wiping. I'll be switching to another brand when they are worn out.

Tesla Model 3 needs special wipers. Bosch AeroTwin are a great choice. I've seen many wipers from Tesla with Bosch markings.
