While the price is cheap, do yourself a favor and get a sio2 based sealant spray. No residue, no stains, last longer, works better.

This post is misleading. It's very rarely ever been "normally $12"

Very typically can be found from $6-$8.

Meguiar's makes decent stuff though.

This is one of a few spray on, hose off SiO2 sealants (such as HydrO2 Lite, McKee's Hydro Blue) if you're into ease of use:

This might be more expensive than the links already posted, but IMO it's worth it.

Car wash and sealant in one which is used on a foam cannon. Currently using that product and am very impressed. High gloss, incredible slickness, gets applied to whole car in one step. So far my suv has had it since spring and it's still working strong. Plan ok giving it another wash prior to snow season.

What's the process? You clean your car first then use this stuff?

Correct. But as other have said just go w/ an SIO2 spray sealant over this old carnuba stuff. They can be applied just by spraying and buffing off. Some claim to be spray on, rinse off but I have only ever buffed off with a MF towel.

These spray sealants are so amazing I wonder why these companies still make their cheaper old school stuff anymore. Most of the SIO2 spray sealants (ceramic and graphene) last months and months and only take 10 minutes to apply.

Some ppl have listed a few good ones already but Turtle Waxes Graphene Flex Wax is the f-ing bees knees. A little more expensive than their ceramic stuff (Seal N Shine) but seriously ridiculous results.

Think of Turtle Waxes SIO2 line as this - Seal N Shine > Hybrid Solutions Ceramic > Graphene Flex Wax. All three protect well but the more expensive you go the better the protection will be.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank aznxenon

Came in here to threadcrap on Carnauba based wax. They were the good stuff 10+ years ago, used to be skeptical about SiO2 based but after trying this Turtle Wax spray I'm a believer. I still have NXT and Ceremic liquid wax but I haven't gone back since I've tried the new school spray wax

Not to mention if you compare the prices the Turtle wax is only 8 cents more per oz
