Salicylic acid is mild, safe, and effective. It goes deep into pores and unclogs them. Especially good for those with acne from clogged pores.

Saclicylic acid is what you want if you have acne.

For creams/lotions with SA, It does give you some irritation/stinging if you have sensitive skin (I noticed it with Cerave SA cream). For a cleanser, i would imagine it would be more mild since most of the acid gets washed away after the rinse.

How long do we leave it on the face? I feel like scrubbing it on your face and rinsing it right after doesn't give enough time to settle into the skin.
