Not very good prices, less than top tier filament should be in the $10 range.

Good luck with that. And this particular brand has worked quite well in the past in my printer.

However, I'm not seeing the 5% off check box anyway.

You can get filament from GST3D all day long for less than $15 a piece, less than $10 each if you are ordering more than 10 spools. Eryone drops to the $10-$11 range almost weekly. Heck, I just ordered rainbow silk off Amazon yesterday for $14. I love slickdeals, but it rarely has good filament deals. Check out the 3dprinterdeals on reddit if you want better, and more frequent bargains.

I prefer to order single spools off Amazon. I didn't realize he was talking about ordering from other places or in large quantities.

I bought two separate spools of their PETG and I did notice that a brand new, tightly sealed roll had moisture; The filament came out of the nozzle with tiny bubbles instead of a steady flow. So... I would still recommend for the dirt cheap prices but don't expect high quality stuff.

There was just a huge Monoprice sale on PLA for $10.30 last month. Even included PLA+ and their hi-gloss/silk colors. You needed to order at least 4 rolls for free shipping, but I ended up with 9 rolls from that sale.

$10-12 filament happens all the time, you just have to find it. I've had no issues whatsoever printing literally any PLA I can get, including the cheapest, no-name, sub-$10 stuff off Amazon. Maybe I've just been lucky but it seems like almost all PLA is pretty good nowadays.

IMO, $15 is the "normal" price for PLA unless it's high-end stuff (like Prusament, Protopasta, Atomic, etc) or something exotic (like wood composite, glow in the dark, color change, carbon fiber, etc.). $10 and under is my "buy now, think later" price. Even if it's a color I'm not super interested in, it's still good to have cheap stuff to prototype with before doing a final print with your intended color/filament.

This is one of the few brands I just won't buy any more. It's always too brittle and won't unspool without tangling.

I've had uneven results with this brand so it's a pass for me.

I've used the silver to print lightsaber parts, and it's worked well.
