This thing looks like it might decide to flip and crawl around to eat the dog
Nice. I got mine for 279. Overall I am happy with it.

onemesh helps boosting coverage, but speed is much worse than dedicated mesh. you can't mix and match it with deco mesh.

This thing is huge, about the size of a mini chromebook. super thick. Antennas are fixed and can't be adjusted.

My house is 2k sqft, single floor, router is in the center of the house, coverage is sufficient.
Bought this at launch for $300. It's decent. Got plenty of coverage from it. However, for the first 6 months or so I couldn't get the maximum speed from my provider (Spectrum), I was only getting less than half of it. Sometimes it worked after a reboot but only for a short time. I called the ISP to make sure it's not their fault. It wasn't. Then, about 6 months ago TP Link released a firmware update which appears to solve the problem. It's working fine since then. I highly recommend you apply the lastest firmware to get the best functionality.

Have this one almost a year, I paid $300, working excellent have no issue.

I have a decent router from dontwanttomentionthename company for years, consistent speed working just fine like yours. Why are you guys sounding like this is the only router? Could you be personnel employed by the manufacturer? I have found a number of shills on social networks posing as the customers. Don't do it.

Cannot get this router to work. Tried 2 units. After a few hours on the line with customer support I was told that I need to contact Comcast in regards to MAC binding. Comcast said it doesnt matter as this is a router, not a modem so its supposed to just take the live signal from my modem.

Long story short nightmare to get setup and still cant get it working.
