Amazon also has an Epic Daily Deal for a 16" Ego Power+ CS1604 chainsaw w/ 5.0 Amp battery and charger for $269. I went this route as I need a 5 amp battery and could use a chainsaw more than another blower (I already have the 530).

I know this thing is powerful, but is it worth waiting for a deal on the lb6504 (650 CFM)? Their regular prices with the 5ah are the same at $300. Opinions?

You won't see a deal on the 6504. It's the latest fastest blower. Deals are on the slower model to move out stock.

Best I have seen on the 650CFM was the lowes deal for $139 for the tool only which I jumped on. You won't get it for $199 with the battery included any time soon. Have tried the 530 CFM vs the 650 and 650 is far superior. Haven't tried this 580 though.

My mistake, it was actually $270. 10% off didn't seem big enough to jump on. Would've gotten an additional 10% OFF at Lowe's but that deal didn't last long and I missed it. I'm just buying the 580, F it.

Thanks for the feedback. I can get the 650 for $270 from Lowe's any time. But I'm just going with this deal as I'm not sure the increase in performance is worth the 35% price difference ($270 vs $200).

Throws sand and debris off the driveway and porch effortlessly. I can't see the 650 doing it much faster unless they completely redesigned the motor, blades and tube chute. Didn't read anything about that.

I've got the 650 cfm. It's a beast! I would wait for it. I haven't used the others, but it would be tough to go to something weaker now. I just it for cleaning my gutters. Works great. Even blows the wet gravel all clumped up right out.

In for the latest generation 5.0 battery with "fuel" monitor. Have to resist getting 2. Will compare the blower to my 3 year old 530 and sell one of them locally.
