I have two of these devices and I absolutely love Android TV and this device is a great value but yes, it locks up on me all the time. I'm constantly having to unplug it and plug it back in order to get it working again.

I've said it in other threads and I'll say it again and get more thumbs down 👎 and that is you're absolutely correct. I have the Onn box, TiVo, Firestick 4K and new Google Chromecast and the TiVo beats them all hands down. It's fast and has the best WiFi connection. Those that knock it gave up before the updates or more than likely never owned it and base their rants on old reviews. Even if you leave the TiVo stock it's the best bang for your buck by far with the new low price.

Like 99% of the people on here I'm serious about hooking a damn streamer to my tv and having it work and not disconnect constantly, have great WiFi range and the ability to side load what I want and have 4K capabilities. Guess what? The TiVo wins in doing that in the $50 and less category.

I forgot to return mine months ago. It sounds like an amazing device in theory because you can play retro games via emulators, do 4K streaming, etc. But unfortunately the Achilles heel is that it constantly freezes. The only way to fix is to power off and on again. Gets very annoying very fast. Maybe recent updates fixed that, I don't know. A shame because it was otherwise damn near perfect.
