Does anyone who has this know if i can use it to control regular channels on my non smart tv? My wife likes watching live tv but hates having a TV remote and the amazon fire tv remote. Can i use this device and remote to go through regular tv channels?

depends on what app you use to playback your movies.

I don't think so. The remote is a Bluetooth remote and is actually a great replacement for the Nvidia shield. I actually picked this up so for the remote and have been happy with it so far.

Just a side note, if anyone is going to use with an Nvidia Shield you need to disable BLE privacy for the remote to wake up the Shield.

Has anyone tried this with Dolphin Emulator app from the Play Store? Still got some Wii games, like Mario Kart, and would be cool to play them on my TV again. My Wii stopped working awhile back.
ETA Prime made a video about emulation performance on this:

If I use an OTG cable, anyone know if an Ethernet will work with this? Any recommendations on a OTG cable with an Ethernet and usb?

You can disable HDR with this and the Dynalink now, right? With the Dynalink (before the ONN version came out), HDR was permanently enabled and it looked awful if you didn't have a fully HDR TV. Can HDR be disabled on the Tivo?

Does the Xfinity Stream app still not run on any of these?

Does the TiVo Stream 4K ever sell for $20?
Yes, hdr can be disabled, enable, auto in tivi 4k.
Tivo 4k is already 20$ at walmart.

I have it. You can control volume and the input. But not the channel. As far as I could tell. Same situation with your fire stick unfortunately.

can't imagine any reason to get the lesser powered TiVo over this though

I would buy it if i don't have to pay for shipping. Wouldn't allow to Walmart pickup at checkout.
Most stores stock it. Have you checked your own?

I cannot answer that question. For me, dolby atmos is very important and tivo supports it. It supports dolby vision also but for my bedroom I dont need that feature. I open an app and it plays and I am happy with it. If onn supports dolby atmos I would definitely buy one.
