1. The remote lacks FFWD and REW buttons, this is annoying. Any way to reconfigure some of the other useless buttons (Nflx/Dsny/HBO) to act as FFWD/REW?
On Paramount Plus, I noticed that the ONN remote actually gives a LOT more control over fast forwarding than the Roku one does. Much improved.
Those app buttons can't be reconfigure.
All this being said, these little android boxes are many times more trouble than they are worth. Most people would be happier with a good streaming stick.

I installed Kodi and Plex on this device and I watch video that way. I have Plex on a NAS (my cloud home which I DESPISE) and an external hard drive plugged into the USB port of my router. These options both work well.
I also have netflix and peacock on this device, but that wasn't really a concern for anyone.
If you're just streaming (netflix, disney+, plex, sling, hulu, etc) pretty much any recent device is good enough for that. This is the cheapest device I've found that supports kodi without jumping through any hoops or worrying about storage. Chromecast built in is an extra plus.

Is there a simple way to send files over the wifi on the same network (not over the internet, which in our case would be a lot slower), from a Windows PC to this once the USB is working? That would still let me xfer compressed files from the Windows PC where I compress them......
