I have two of these devices and I absolutely love Android TV and this device is a great value but yes, it locks up on me all the time. I'm constantly having to unplug it and plug it back in order to get it working again.

Kodi is pretty configurable, although there will be some learning on just how to conect to a network share device. Highly recomend it. Get Kodi at the play store..
