I have two of these devices and I absolutely love Android TV and this device is a great value but yes, it locks up on me all the time. I'm constantly having to unplug it and plug it back in order to get it working again.

This is the best value android tv 4k box out there. It has a stock android tv launcher and can even flash LineageOS on it.

The Bluetooth connection is known to die on these things so give it some room to breathe. No issues here knock on wood...

Most of the reviewers just go by the brand name and would have a nose in the air with regard to name like 'Onn". While it's true that rest of the Onn devices may not ooze quality, this one definitely works very well. It's very snappy and surprisingly even has had few s/w updates pushed since the initial release.

I would hesitate to buy a Onn Tv but this one's is certainly a good buy!

OTG but you can run into size limitations. Set up a Plex server and stream from PC to Onn. The wifi on the Onn is very fast.

If you're trying to access shared video, install vlc media player and point it to a shared folder on the network

How does it compare to the Fire TV Stick 4k Max, specially in CPU and GPU?

Also, i never found a web browser that can be easily used by remote than the Silk browser in FTV Stick 4k.
So please advice me a Android TV alternative if you happen to know one. Thanks!

Confused.... I thought the Onn was a rebranded Dynalink.

I have both and the FireTV 4k is much faster. That being said you're going to need to be okay with the FireOS ecosystem on the the FireTV vs. AndroidTV on the Onn. There are ways to swap the launcher on the FireTV stick to another if interested (which I think is a must as the FireOS is a messy, chaotic launcher with tons of self promotion crap littered everywhere). My preference is TVLauncher as I find it to be fast and simple as it allows you to catagorize apps and put them into tabs for simple organization.

Fire TV Stick 4K Max is only a little bit faster in benchmarks.

I have both. I don't notice the speed difference. The launcher and onscreen keyboard of the Onn are a ton better. I've heard you can change those on the Fire TV sticks, but I haven't tried. The only thing I really like better on the Fire TV is the dedicated play/pause button on the remote.

If I had to pick just one, it would be the Onn.
