Everything stated is "refill" only. Talked with 3 camels and they told me it has been this price since August. Meh.

Fyi, put these in 2 of my 3 toilets for about 2 years, started having leaks in from the tank / bowl in the 2 used, and the one not was fine. It literally ate apart the rubber in the toilet tank. in the toilets used, if you put finger down into the tank and touched the rubber seals, it just deteriorated. I can only assume it is from the kaboom tablets.

Was great, having naturally clean toilets. but yeah, I would recommend avoiding this.

I don't think this is possible. The "kaboom water" only enters your toilet bowl, if correctly installed. It bypasses the tank entirely

Everything in the listing states this includes the system with 2 refills, only the picture shows it's refills. If you need it, I recommend this system, I have them installed in every toilet and haven't scrub a single one since. Buy some spa bromine tabs instead for refills.

sorry, I may be referring to wrong part. the kaboom system, is a hose, and the water runs through it, and into the "storage" part behind the toilet, the water sits there until it flushes with the kaboom tablet/chemical dissolved into it.

the tank seal that connects to the toilet, those went bad.

water goes through this hose, and fills the tank. so the tank is full of the checmial, and it slowly ate away the rubber, from the bottom of the storage tank, that connects to toilet. water started leaking into the actual bowl and doing those phantom flushes.

the seal that houses the plunger/flusher crap, both the toilets with the kaboom, the rubber literally disintegrated, I can ONLY assume it was from these. eating the seals over time. the toilet that had none, still perfectly fine.

but it wasn't all bad, I upgraded those toilets in the end to some fancier stuff, dont need those tablets anymore. the Kohler flush piston system does wonders.

The tablet only affects the water that goes in the bowl when you flush, not the tank. (Unless you installed it wrong or the holder for the tablet is leaking or something)

I had to install wrong

Because, the water goes through the set up, to refill the tank.

When I flush, the water that was filled/sitting gets flushed out

I don't understand how it could work any other way. As water only goes into the bowl after it sits

No water goes from fill to bowl without the flush

If you install it correctly, there is no treated water sitting in the tank, the Kaboom system doesn't fill the holding tank - its only part of the water in the after flush. (see how its in the white tube, that goes directly into the toilet bowel https://www.amazon.ca/Kaboom-Scru...B00LPEO64G )

I have found the two I purchased a few years ago very good - got generic hot tub tablets for refills and works great.

You have it installed incorrectly. The output hose from the kaboom goes directly into the overflow tube, not into the toilet tank. All water into the overflow tube is sent to the toilet bowl, therefore bypassing the toilet tank.

Yes, if the chemicals do flow into the tank, they will eat the seals causing a failure.

I have used this system in all my toilets for over 10 years. Works flawlessly.

dog... that is the same way I have mine. the water that goes through that FILLS THE DAMN TANK.

it fills the tank after a flush. once you flush, that water disappears. but til you flush, those chemicals that went through there sit in that tank? im really confused here how people say it doesnt contact the seals.

we clean ours a lot, and we use bidet too. Lol. them steamers but for real, I upgraded to this toilet. - think this is right one. it has the aqua piston, and honestly, it uses less water, and every flush makes the toilet look clean. I upgraded all my toilets to this in the end, worth it imo. older toilets (upgraded from American standard like 3gpf) or something stupid, this uses half the water and flushes better and quieter. wish I did this sooner with water prices going up.

water only comes in 1 way, and it fills the tank. how would the tank not get any chemicals? if the water goes through the kaboom block. Lol im so damn confused

oh and ps. the best price I was able to find was Lowes, you would get 3 refills I think, I cannot remember ,but it would be on sale often, and then 10% military discount. I bought like 10 boxes at a extreme discount.
